Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend:) Lots of Holiday parties are happening and I love adding a little bit extra to every dress for the holidays!! So today I thought I would walk y’all through how I do a holiday make up look. I ran into Sephora the other day and picked up 2 key items to complete my holiday looks! Adding a some sparkle and a red lip is what I live for over the holidays so I was really excited to find exactly what I was looking for:)

First things first, I do my full make up routine! I usually spend a little bit more time getting ready when I am heading to party. It takes me about an hour to do full hair and make up all together. Even though it takes a bit more time to get ready, I love being able to take my time instead of rush through my make up. After I do a full make up look, I go back in with this Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow! I simply apply it over my eyeshadow that is already there. I love having the smokey eye to enhance the sparkly eye shadow! Y’all, I can not say enough good things about this eyeshadow. It stays on for so long and doesn’t clump in your eye creases!! It also is very sparkly and will be a stand out statement with your outfit. The Stila Glitter & Glow eyeshadow comes in a couple different colors but the one I use is “Kitten Karma”!

Finally, my lips are always the last thing I ever do, just so it doesn’t smug while I am getting changed. I have been on the hunt for a really good red lip lately! I feel like the holidays are complete without a little red lip:) When I was in Sephora a couple weeks ago they recommended the YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick! They showed me how to use it in the store and the different angles. Y’all this lipstick does an amazing job at creating that V in your upper lip!! I was blown away how good it looked plus it didn’t make my teeth look yellow… I was sold!! The color I got was “Rouge Extravagant”. 

It is as simple as 2 different items to complete a full holiday make up look! Both, the Stila Glitter & Glow eyeshadow and the YSL Lipstick, are great products to your make up routine to add that fun holiday feel:)
