Adjusting to working from home has lead me to look for outfits that can serve multiple purposes. An outfit that I can dress up for a zoom/teams call but also able to go grab a glass of wine with friends. I saw this yellow linen Ann Taylor midi dress (on sale!) and thought it fit everything I was looking for. Easy to throw on a blazer but well suited for relaxing as well.
This midi length dress is a beautiful accent piece to add to your closet for the summer. The beautiful yellow stands out against others and can be styled with different ways. I love how to sleeves are just a little puffy to add an additional dimension. I was a little worried about fitting them under a blazer but had no issues.

Something to consider, especially for the summer, is adding more color to your wardrobe. It helps boost confidence and makes dressing up a little more fun. That is why I thought this bold orange blazer would be perfect to go over this midi dress and other work items I have already. It was such a statement on it’s own but could easily be put with other colors.
My go-to thing right now for any work from home outfit is making sure a blazer goes with it. Most days I don’t wear the blazer all day but have it on the back of my chair so that when I join video calls I can quickly elevate my look.
When looking for a relaxing dress, I am always drawn to ones that tie around the waist. To me, they are a lot more comfy than tight fitting dresses. You can adjust the tie at the front so that when you are sitting down it isn’t as tight but when staying you have that flattering figure fit!
