A Spring Work Look

I am here for the weather and I am hoping it is going to stick around! On Monday, it was another beautiful day so in honor of that I brought out this beautiful floral dress from Loft! If you have been around this blog a time or two then you will understand by obsessed with floral patterns haha. I truly can not get enough and find I am always drawn to anything with flowers:)

This whole look is just perfect for spring and goes well for a laid back look at work. I wore it on Monday since I didn’t have any super important meetings (I base my looks on who will be in certain meetings) and I got tons of compliments. It is such a great little button up dress that can be worn with more formal shoes or just flats!

What I really need y’all to know is these bow mules are giving me life:) I can’t get enough of the color plus the adorable bows at the top! Personally, I don’t love to show my toes at work but I find flats tend to get boring at a while. This is why I am so drawn to mules! I am so glad they are back in style this year because this girl just ordered a ton;)

I actually have to share this really stupid moment I had Monday morning this week… I was running in and out of my house trying to put things in my car. I turned to run back inside and realized my garage door had locked on me. To be honest I completely panicked and had no idea what to do. I didn’t have my phone with me so I couldn’t call anyone and the only person who had a key to my house was my mom. Thank god because I do not have a single persons number memorized besides my mom’s.

Anyway, long story short, I had to run over to my neighbors (who I had never met before), wake them up and use their phone to call my mom to let me in my own house. I felt so silly and was completely late for work. I was completely at a lose in what to do and felt like a complete idiot after I did it. It was one of those moments that you just think I could either cry right now or laugh through it… I chose to laugh haha!
