When it comes to styling fall looks, I gravitate towards burnt oranges and plaids! There is nothing more classic to me than a plaid blazer… probably why I have a large selection and can’t part ways with any of them! So even when looking to style casual workwear, I normally try to center it around plaid blazers. Lately, I have been seeing more plaid blazers styled with trendy looks like leather pants, biker shorts, boot cut jeans, etc. So I thought I would share a way I would bring some fall trendy pieces together to make a trendy casual work look that you can recreate with pieces in your workwear closet!
I get a lot of questions this time of year about styling boots/booties at work! This season, boot cut jeans are pretty trendy so I have been taking advantage of this by styling them with boots for work looks. They make your legs look so much longer and can be styled with both boots or heels, depending on what you feel comfortable wearing. I threw this more fitted plaid wool blazer over the top of a turtleneck sweater. You could easily style an oversized blazer with this to give it an even more casual feel!
