Adding A Blazer To Dresses!

Happy Monday! Today I wanted to talk about blazer’s and how much I believe they can really change an outfit. Over the past couple months, I have been drawn to any type of blazer. Striped, navy, black, pink, it honestly doesn’t matter because I want it! With the weather being so chilly lately, all I have found myself wearing is blazers with jeans or work pants. Now that we are {finally} heading into spring, I have been styling them with dresses!

Blazer’s truly are a huge staple to have in your work wear closet. I have them in a couple different colors and tend to route through all of them. Most people believe they have to be worn with a suit or work pants but they can easily be styled with many different pieces! Which is why my “blazer section” in my closet has grown exponentially since starting in the “real world”!

For spring, I really love to wear dresses as this fits my personality the best but in a professional setting it can be hard. Adding a blazer over the top of most dresses instantly makes it a lot more sophisticated and chic! If I am wearing a dress I lean towards a more fitted blazer like this H&M one so that it doesn’t hide my curves too much. Also peep the flared bottom of the blazer!! I think it’s absolutely adorable!

Lately I have really been loving the work wear H&M has come out with so if you are looking for a great inexpensive place to shop, I definitely would recommend checking them out!
