This is what I love so much about fashion… breaking the rules and doing what you want! Over the years things have changed, people used to conformed to what were the “fashion rules”, models were skinny and you were seen as the weird one if you didn’t didn’t fit into that category. Now it’s not like that and breaking those boundaries is seen as the “cool” thing! While simply wearing white after labor day might not be the ground breaking, earth shattering thing in the fashion world, it has become more and more of a trend if you will to break this rule.
People don’t want to follow stupid rules and want to find ways to break outside of them! That’s why this year we have found tons of different styles and colors all over NYFW. To say I am loving it is and understatement haha. I love the all white look with a bit of grey to change things up. It makes for a much brighter and less dull fall:)
With the trend to wear white after labor day, it has allowed me to explore more of my wardrobe without filling boxes with items that I won’t be able to wear till next year! Texas is still so so hot, so who says I can’t be wearing a white tank at the start of fall? Call me the rebel but it has been a hot topic for this fall and it is a “trend” I am definitely following!
