Happy Monday, Y’all! Since I have been talking so so so much about fall and wishing that the temperatures would cool down, I decided to share some things that I am super excited for this fall! One being wearing tons of cozy sweaters like this one HERE🙂 I promise I haven’t completely lost my marbles yet with all the sweaters I have been wearing but for Texas people the struggle is very real.

Outside is like 100+ degrees so you crank that AC down to 65 degrees and then you sit in your house and freeze so you put a sweater on then you forget about the sweater and walk outside and suddenly really regret all decisions up to that point! It is just a continuous cycle because every time I tell myself I wont ever go outside in a sweater again, I forget and then end up sweating a ton. Any Texas people feel me??

Alrighty, now that I have “justified” why I have a sweater on in the middle of Texas summer lets talk about all things that fall will bring:)

1. Fall Candles! This is what I am honestly truly the most excited for. Having pumpkin spice and vanilla bean candles burning everywhere. I basically go through so many and smell it so much, its a good thing fall happens a full year later because it takes me that long to recover from smelling it all the time haha.
2. Hiking! Jeremy and I are big outdoorsy people… well I am to an extend! haha sleeping on the floor when I have a perfectly good bed is not really my cup of tea but I have done it a time or two. Hiking is so much fun for us because the temperatures are cooler and its a super good workout. It’s also a break for us to talk about us and things we love instead of being busy with your lives. We love to try and go to either Colorado or Arkansas to get that real fall feel!
3. Pumpkin Carving! Who can resist pumpkin carving in the fall? Last year I had to miss out due to being on the road and traveling constantly but before that Jeremy and I had made it a little tradition to go to a pumpkin patch and pick out a few pumpkins. Also I love keeping the seeds on the inside and cooking them:)
4. Riding Boots with Leggings! 100% this will be my uniform for the fall! Between working and grad school, I have to dress nice but I am lucky enough to be able to be casual. So riding boots and leggings will be my thing for sure.
5. Crisp leaves! We don’t get a huge amount of that here in Texas because we don’t have a huge change in seasons. Our fall for most people is others late summer haha but if you travel to Arkansas you get beautiful views of changing color leaves! Another place Jeremy and I have talked about visiting during this season is Charlotte. They have stunning trees during the fall filled with tons of vibrant fall colors:) We will see if we make it out there this fall, might have to wait till next year:(
