Through this work wear blogging journey the past year, I have found it increasingly difficult to find new brands that sell work wear appropriate items. This year I wanted to challenge myself to reach beyond the main brands I share. Throughout the year I hope to start introducing you to new brands through this “New Brand Alert” blog series!

To kick off the “New Brand Alert” blog series, I wanted to introduce you to Everlane! This is a brand that has ethical factories and they are super transparent about their pricing. Personally, I was very shocked to see just how transparent they were. Throughout the Everlane website you get this sense of openness and passion for each of their own items. To show you just how transparent they are, at the bottom of the product pages they do a full break down of all the costs.
I had the opportunity growing up to work in big and small retail stores. This meant that I have seen whole sale prices for various items and how they are marked up by a very large percentage. To see a whole section of a brands website open to sharing this information was exciting. It meant that the consumer was more informed on what they were buying and where their money was going.
I was super excited to start shopping with Everlane after reading more about their brand. The website offers so many great neutral, vibrant colors in a variety of items. I wanted to grab some neutral items that I knew would go with most anything so I started with a coat and tote bag. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of both items.
