It’s the NSale time of year! I have covered this sale since 2015 and each year it has gotten crazier and crazier. Last year I was super overwhelmed and everything sold out super fast. People got annoyed and then it felt like a waste. I covered literally everything last year but for 2019 I want to do it differently!
I will only be covering Work Wear from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale plus a couple other items I picked up that I thought was worth having. I did a poll on Instagram on what you wanted to see and this was highly demanded! Which makes this super easy for me because that’s honestly all I wear:)
Below are some details about the sale if you are new this year and looking for some guidance on how to shop!

Public Access: July 19th – August 4th
How to gain early access?!
The only way to gain early access to the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is if you have a Nordstrom’s Credit card! I know you probably just cringed at hearing that but I pulled the plug and did it a couple years ago because 1. You get early access, 2. You can earn extra rewards points and 3. You get $20 for signing up to spend at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! You can read more about the Nordstrom’s Card HERE!
Personally, I am not a big fan of holding a lot of credit cards but I do shop Nordstrom a lot outside the sale. I find it helpful to have to gain those points. But I will always go and pay the card off right away.
Tips & Tricks!
Okay so your all super excited but really don’t want to get a Nordstrom card! How else can you insure you get all the items you want?
I didn’t have early access a couple years ago and I still got almost everything I wanted! Here is the trick that I used:
- Browse through the Early Access Sale. You can see all of the items that are on sale/prices but you just can’t purchase them!
- Write down all the items that you wish to have when the sale goes public! This will save you hours of searching through the sale and missing out on great pieces
- DON’T HESITATE! I know this seems simple but I hesitated on a lot of items and completely regretted it. PS. Nordstrom will let you return anything for free! So buy now, think later is my motto for this sale 😉
- Get up as early as you can and shop the sale. It seems silly but if there are things you want, you might as well go grab them before they are gone!
- Have fun! I loved getting my packages in the mail and going through all the items! It was like Christmas morning in the middle of July!
