CASHMERE CARDIGAN
This cashmere cardigan is a favorite from last years sale! It’s so comfy to throw on while working from home and I love to travel with it. It’s light enough that it wouldn’t take up a lot of space in your work bag if I wanted to carry it to work! I love how chic it looks with a simple blouse or a long sleeve top underneath. You can either dress it up for a date night with over the knee boots or dress it for work with work pants and mules!
LEVI RIPPED JEANS
Looking for some ripped jeans to style this fall? These Levi Ripped Jeans are a deal! Just note you will want to go up in size because they are tight. I love the overall fit of them through the leg, how they look with booties or flats, and sweaters! I wouldn’t normally go with a light wash jeans but since they are ripped I wouldn’t wear them to work so I thought they look like the perfect fall jeans.
WORK BLAZER
It is no secret I love a good blazer so any opportunity to grab another one I am all here for it! This blazer from the Nordstrom sale is light weight. It’s a great transition piece from summer to fall! Another thing I really appreciate about this blazer is how to sleeves are scrunched up. As someone with shorter arms, blazers tend to be too long on me so I love finding ones that I don’t have to roll up my sleeves.
MARC FISHER BOOTS
These boots were made for walkin’… no but really they are! I am all about a good bootie but most of mine have some sort of heel on them. I saw that Nordstrom had these Marc Fisher boots on sale and thought I could NEVER pull these off. But I had been wanting some good boots that were more flexible to wear throughout the fall and winter, ones I could wear with leggings and a sweatshirt without having to get dressed up, and these seemed like the perfect ones. Once I got them in I actually fell in love with them and can’t wait to wear them with more outfits!
WORK SNEAKERS
A good pair of sneakers go a long way for work! I had been seeing more inspiration for black sneakers on Pinterest. The past couple months I had been keeping my eye out for a good pair. Once I saw these Sam Edelman sneakers on sale I knew it was meant to be! I have styled them a couple different ways but think they are a great casual work option for work!
WORK COAT
Good quality coats can be very expensive. I love the wool ones but tend to find they range from $300 – $400 in price. Which to me seems like a bit much. I love that the Nordstrom Sale offers some good quality coats at a good price. The past couple years during the sale I have been getting at least one coat and still to this day I love wearing each of them! Most of the time I try and stick with neutral colors so I have the option to wear them with different outfits. This year I grabbed this Halogen wool coat to add to my coat collection:)
PERFECT BLACK WORK PANT
Let’s chat real quick about work pants! Black work pants are an essential staple to have in your workwear closet. These Spanx Black Pants will be your go too! I have worn them for many years and love how they fit. They feel like leggings but the material is thicker so nothing will be see through. There is also a slit at the back bottom of the pant that make the pant not actually look like leggings. I have worn these pants with blouses, blazers, sweaters, etc. They are a big staple in my closet!
TORY BURCH WORK TOTE BAG
Looking for a new work tote now that you are heading back into the office? This Tory Burch tote is so sleek and clean. The inside of it has different compartments for your laptop and all other items you carry to the office. The material feels sturdy and not something that is going to weather quickly. I love having a black tote in my workwear closet because it’s a piece I can style with many different outfits and not have to worry!
BAREFOOT DREAMS BLANKET
Did you get your hands on one of these Barefoot Dreams blankets from the Nordstrom sale?? If not, there are still a couple options left in stock! I have thought many times about ordering a another one because they are so soft! I carry mine around the house with me and love having it on my lap while I work.
ZELLA WORKOUT JACKET
Last item from the sale that I got last year, is this Zella workout jacket! It is my go-to jacket during the fall and winter when I am heading to my workout classes! It’s easy to throw on in the morning with workout wear. It feels a lot like my Lululemon jackets!
