Wow I truly think this afternoon picnic we had in Central Park was a dream! The past couple weeks I had been telling Jeremy how badly I wanted to have a picnic with him at a park in Dallas. We had yet had the time to have one since it was so hot out so we just kind of put it off.
On our last day in the NYC, we were trying to think of some relaxing thing’s to do. Our friend that we were staying with recommended this diner restaurant to us. She said that they provided picnic baskets that you could take to Central Park with you. I honestly must have jumped so high for joy because Jeremy knew whatever he wanted to do was going right out the window haha.
I slipped on this gorgeous dress that I had brought with me and I skipped down to Central Park with a picnic basket in tow! We laid out under a tree and ate our sandwiches while watching people bike by. It was so relaxing and had me constantly asking if people really do live here. Not sure if I could do it personally but seeing that people just live their lives in such an iconic city was so amusing to me.
The picnic was probably my favorite thing that we did in NYC! If your heading to NYC or you live there, the place that rented us a picnic basket as well as made all our food was a diner called “Good Enough To Eat”. The food was amazing but just a fair warning the place is packed at all times of the day!
Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend! Might have given you a little inspiration on something to do this weekend;)
