I am so excited for today’s post because I got to style the cutest outfit for spring! The sun finally came out last weekend (we had rain for a week straight) and it was so glorious outside. We packed up and headed to the lake to shoot this look for y’all! There is something so reviving about being at the lake and taking in all the fresh air while being amongst all the boats bobbing up and down on the pier. I have always been in love with that beachy boat preppy style… you know the one where the girl wears the pullover tied around her shoulders with white shorts and a white button up! I guess it’s all the white from the boat and the blue from the sea that really gets me!
One thing I always look forward to in the spring is heading to the lake! My parents own a sail boat on one of the lakes here in Texas and when the weather gets warm we love to set sail. Fun fact about my family is that we have sailed around the Caribbean twice:) It’s two of my all-time favorite memories from when I was younger and something we talk all the time about doing again!
For many of you lucky ducks Spring Break is just around the corner which means most of you will be headed to the beach! While some of us non-spring breakers will be starting to head to the lake! Whether you’re a spring breaker or just gearing up for the spring/summer, Southern Marsh should be a stop along your way to pick up some great spring items! Southern Marsh has that perfect southern preppy style for sporting at the beach or on a boat! I absolutely adore the tiny detailing of the limes on these shorts and how colorful they are. It takes my love for a classic white short to the next level. This oh so soft sail boat tee is super bright and colorful too which is perfect for that beachy vibe. It is super soft as well! Last but not least, can we talk about how fun that flamingo beach towel is?? I will be using this all summer long by the pool and maybe by the beach if I find some time to take a little vacation:)
Really wishing I was heading back to Destin, FL or Santa Barbara, CA again for my spring break but for now I will settle with the beautiful lakes we have around Dallas;) I would absolutely love to hear where are you going for spring break?
