As Texas continues to stay hot, the idea of a cool fall day sounds wonderful. But I know many of you are looking to start transitioning your closet to fall clothing. I bring you my favorite classic… cardigans with workwear! It’s a great transition item to start with because you can take it off halfway through the day when it starts to heat up. I styled it here with a bodysuit, which I wouldn’t recommend wearing by itself in a work environment. But throw a short sleeve blouse underneath and you have more freedom to style a cardigan on or off!

You could easily grab a few of your own similar pieces and put them together! If you don’t have wide leg pants, I would recommend switching these ones out for black work pants or white work pants. If you like to style skirts, you could do a more casual look with a slip skirt. The best thing about cardigans are they carry you through fall and winter and can create many different outfit options for you!
