A black suit is a classic staple to have in your workwear closet. You never know when one might come in handy, even in the middle of winter. The classic way that I see most people style an all black suit is with a black or white blouse underneath. During the colder months, that doesn’t give you much warmth. To make this black suit more winter friendly, I opted for a black turtleneck top. It adds an extra layer of warmth to your chest but still looks formal and professional!
Quick note on sizing for this black suit! The blazer fits true to size, I went with a small. I was able to button it up completely in the front. The pants, I wish I had gone up a size! They fit very snug. The waist band is elastic but it’s really really small. I got small in these and wish I had gotten a medium. I really like the length of the pant though. I am 5’3 so the “Regular” fit just right. If you are taller, I would opt for the “Long” option.
