Happy Monday friends! I was suppose to have this post go live on Friday but the craziness of last week caught up to me and I didn’t get an opportunity. We are continuing our “Summer Ready” series with a make up update! Every summer I update my make up routine to be more natural and sun ready:) I make sure my foundation has SPF in it, add a little bronzer to brighten my face, and throw a more natural eye palette in there. Below I will share my thoughts on each summer make up product! I would love to hear how you update your summer make up routine in the comments below:)

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

I first shared this on the blog a couple weeks ago (HERE) and it was such a hit with y’all! I got so many emails say that you really enjoyed it because of how light weight it was. It also smells really good. I have loved adding this to my summer make up routine because it has SPF in it and it doesn’t feel cakey all day long.

The downside I do have is that it doesn’t stop me from being oily. If I put it on early in the morning I tend to be oily by the afternoon just in the T zone. Other than that I think it is a really great tinted moisturizer! I apply it just by putting a bit on my finger tips and rubbing it all over my face. After I take a wet beauty blender and dab it all over my face to even it out.

Hoola Benefit Bronzer

After putting tinted moisturizer on, I grab this Hoola Bronzer and add it to my cheeks, forehead, and right under my chin! I love brightening my face with this and I add enough to even out my tan all over my body. I don’t tan my face at all so I use this bronzer to make my face look tan!

Personally, I only buy the small size of this because I don’t use a ton of it so it doesn’t run out very fast! It also is really easy to travel with as well. I have been using this Hoola Bronzer for a while and will 100% continue with my summer make up routine:)

Urban Decay Naked Basic Palette

I actually got this palette a while ago and for some reason I am just now using it! I don’t know why I did not start sooner!! All the colors are so natural and go on perfectly:) The one color I am still playing around with is the black. I have not mastered that color yet haha. The palette is always really great for traveling with.

Personally I love the size and how there are limited colors! I have thought many times about getting the Naked Palette but there are so many colors it kind of overwhelms me haha. Plus I feel like I would not use all the colors anyway. This is just such a great compact eyeshadow palette to add to your summer make up routine:)

Essence Last Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara

Throughout the summer, I am always in and out of the water so my mascara is coming off. With that being said I don’t like to spend a ton of money on it. The Essence mascara is literally only $5!! Whenever I am in Ulta I always buy at least 2 or them because they sell out of them very quickly.

There is a reason this stuff sells out so fast! It really does volumize’s the lashes:) I can’t say enough good things about it.

Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter (Kitten)

The one thing I always look forward to applying when I am doing my make up is this Stila Highlighter! No kidding, it’s so sparkly and really gives you the right amount of shine. That is why I am adding it to my summer make up routine! I add a little bit to my cheek bones, my nose and my upper lip with a flare brush. I absolutely love how smooth it goes on and how it shimmers in the sun really enhancing the bone structure:)
