Happy Friday, Friends! Dainty, feminine and chic are the looks I have been drawn to lately. I find that those things can be found in the tiniest forms of details. They really add a little bit of elegance to an outfit without being too formal. Take this eyelet top from Lauren James for example. If it didn’t have that detailing throughout the top it would be just a plain white top but with the eyelet detail it is a lot more feminine!
I have a couple different tops/dresses with eyelet detailing and I have to say it is definitely where my eyes are drawn to in my closet. I dressed this top with a pair of distressed jeans and some bow shoes to really draw your eye to the top. The whole outfit is very simple and so easy to put together!
Style tip: If you have an outfit picked out try adding a scarf in the hair or neck to bring in that dainty feel!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I will be locking myself away this weekend to study for finals… I am not thrilled about it but it has to be done! I can’t believe I am graduating with a masters soon. It does not feel real at all!
