Oh my, oh my, oh my! I kid you not I was beyond giddy when I was ordering this full look and then when it came in I just about died? Have you ever seen anything quite as adorable as this fall preppy look? This outfit probably is the physical representation of everything I have ever wanted to be. The ruffles from the houndstooth skirt, the bows at the end of the sleeves, the hooks on the front of the navy poncho… need I say more? If I could wear this every single day of my life I probably would.
Funny enough I was actually not always a preppy girl! When I was really young I loved to wear pants and go skate boarding with the guys and wanted nothing to do with being a girlie girl. My mom believes that one day I randomly woke up and decided I loved all things girlie haha. And thank goodness I did or else I would have missed out on this darling look!!
This full look is from J.Crew Factory which is one of my favorite stores for work wear! Everything is reasonably priced and great quality. I was shocked when I felt how thick this poncho and skirt were. They both are items that you keep for a long time which turn them into classic pieces. When J.Crew Factory is having a sale is the best time to shop too because a lot of their items fall under $50!
