July was filled with lots of sun and sales! Nordstrom sale happened last month and it was the perfect chance to get those fall staples. Which ended up leading me to wanting fall to start haha. Texas definitely has some time before we hit the cooler temperatures. Below are the top 10 items that you loved this past month! If you missed any of them they are still available to shop now:)
ONE. SPANX PERFECT BLACK PANT
These black pants from Spanx are my favorite so I was really excited to see many of you got them during the Nordstrom sale! They will be a go to pair for you over and over again.
TWO. MARC FISHER BOOTS
I was not expecting to love these boots as much as I do! They are unlike anything else I have in my closet. I love that they are casual boot that can be styled with leggings or jeans. Most of my boots in my closet are booties with a bit of a heel. So it’s going to be nice having some without a heel that I can style for everyday wear.
THREE. VINCE CAMUTO SLIM TECH PANT
If your office isn’t the type to allow pants that look like leggings or you are needing to be more dressed up, these are a great black work pant option! They are stretchy (so size down) and actually comfy to wear all day. My closet is full of black work pants because they are a great base option. Can’t have a womens workwear closet without black work pants and a black blazer!
FOUR. COZY BUTTON CARDIGAN
I was so excited to see this cardigan come back this year. I got it in cream last year but found this orange color gave me a pop of color! Clearly yall loved it too!! It’s a great item to have to help transition your closet to the fall. There are also many different ways to style it in a causal work environment!
FIVE. RIPPED LEVI JEANS
Heading into the fall you need a good pair jeans! A light wash, rip and straight leg is a perfect pair to style with all your favorite sweaters this fall season. I got these in my normal size and realized that they were way to small haha. So I ended up going a size up and really love the overall fit!
SIX. SAM EDELMAN SNEAKERS
The work environment has changed send many worked from home for a year. Most businesses are looking to be more casual. Coming and going when you want and not having to dress up as much. One of my go-to items for casual workwear are sneakers. I have a number of white sneakers so decided to switch it up with black sneakers!
SEVEN. WHITE TIE JEANS
While we are heading into the later months of the summer, white jeans won’t be going out of style any time soon! Last year I wore them all year long with sandals to boots. This look has been a go to for me the past couple weeks when we go out to dinner. It’s simple and easy to throw on last minute! I got these white jeans in my regular size.
EIGHT. WOOL BLEND COAT
I was so excited to see many of you love this coat! It’s going to be such a great staple in your fall/winter closet. I styled it casually here but can’t wait to take it into my workwear as well. Styling it with heels, work pants and a blouse is going to be so chic!!
NINE. PADDED SHOULDER BODYSUIT
Nothing better than a good black t-shirt! I keep many in my closet to style with different items. Originally when I saw this I thought it was just another black t-shirt. But I saw that it had padded shoulders and wanted to check it out. I clearly didnt read the title before ordering because it came as a bodysuit haha! The fit is everything though!! It’s so fitting and looks sleek and the length of the sleeves is perfect.
TEN. CASHMERE CARDIGAN
Last but not least, this cashmere cardigan! While it is a bit of a splurge, it’s something I wore alot last year while working from home. It’s light weight and easy to throw on over most anything. No need to get out of those cozy pajamas during those chilly days! Throw this cashmere cardigan over the top to pull of a chic lounge wear look.
