I can’t believe September flew by! It’s crazy to think we are already into fall and people are already talking about the holidays😅. Kind of stresses me out a little bit! But I am not complaining about these cooler mornings… it has been so nice to sit out on my porch with a cup of coffee to start my day! I feel like October is going to go so fast because we have a number of trips planned this month. Honestly I went through and planned out the rest of the year and it’s crazy how much we have going on!
Today, I wanted to share a round up of the top items from last month! All of them were workwear related😍. But I love to see how much y’all love some of my favorite staples, especially J.Crew! #10 J.CREW BLACK & WHITE DRESS
The moment I saw this dress on J.Crew, I knew I had to have it! The black silhouette style with the white trim is stunning! The perfect mix between elegance and professional! I got my regular size in the dress. It is a more form fitting just an fyi!

#9 ANN TAYLOR HOUNDSTOOTH BLAZER
If there was a blazer to style all fall and winter long, it would be this one! I love anything houndstooth but the black and white is very professional. Which makes it easy to style with your workwear staples!

#8 SPANX PERFECT WORK DRESS
This was another favorite dress from last month! I loved the silhouette on this dress but I really loved the 3/4 sleeves on the dress! Especially heading into the fall/winter, it gives a little bit of extra coverage so you dont have to wear a blazer. Style it with tights and heels to make it winter ready!

#7 J.CREW CASHMERE CARDIGAN
I have had this cashmere cardigan for a few years and it’s the perfect staple to have for the fall. Last month J.Crew did a number of sales so this was at such a great price! I love that you can style it buttoned up as a top or styled with a t-shirt underneath for a relaxed look.

#6 ANN TAYLOR RIBBED MOCK NECK SWEATER
This ribbed top from Ann Taylor is the perfect layering piece! The color is absolutely gorgeous as well and a great pop of color for fall! I love styling their ribbed sweater tanks under blazers because they are simple and go with different pant options.

#5 J.CREW OPEN LONG SWEATER BLAZER
Got this open long cardigan at the beginning of September! I have worn it to work from home and to travel this past month! It’s so cozy and oversized. It could also be a great option for a coat too! I got my regular size in the cardigan coat. I didn’t want to go smaller because I wanted to be able to wear sweaters underneath!

The color of this blouse really drew me to it! It was a great option for the fall to style under plaid blazers or by it’s self with black/tan pants! I went with my regular size in this top.

#3 EXPRESS NOVELTY BUTTON SWEATER JACKET
I was so glad to see how excited y’all were about this button sweater jacket! It’s perfect for dressing up your workwear looks this fall. I have worn it as is and with a turtle neck underneath! Both are great options for keeping it professional and styling for work! I got my regular size in it and it fits great.

One of my favorite pieces in my closet is a top favorite from last month! This sweater blazer has seen some years. I have loved and adored this blazer for so long because it’s comfy and structured! Especially while working from home, it’s easy to feel relaxed but still look good on camera. I went with my regular size in it!

#1 NORDSTROM PLAID BLAZER
The number one item this past month was this plaid blazer from Nordstrom! There is not a fall where I don’t try to wear plaid every week! The number of plaid blazers I have in my closet is bad haha. Probably should get rid of a few of them. But this one is perfect for adding that extra dimension to your workwear looks through the fall!
