Hello friends and happy Thursday! Today I am bringing the most beautiful silk scarf to you:) The other day I was strolling through the wonderful aisles of H&M (which I hadn’t actually been in a store in probably months) when my eyes were drawn to this tiny bit of material sticking out. It probably looked like I took one massive leap because I could see that it was the only one there and in that moment I knew no matter what I needed it.
You know when you tell yourself you absolutely have to have something but haven’t checked the price yet, you turn that label over and slowly look away just incase you die from how expensive it is. To my massive delight it cost a whole whopping $10!! I ran to the check out and didn’t continue looking because I had everything I could ever need:)
Something I have been struggling with work wear is repeating looks or styles becoming boring. I don’t like to repeat outfits but I don’t have an endless wardrobe to wear every single week! The other week I took some time to scroll through Pinterest to get some inspiration for switching up looks.
Silk scarves was one I saw time and time again! They are so elegant and dainty but add texture/fun pattern to a rather simple look. You can also style them many different ways. For this look I throw it over my shoulders and then pulled all the material around my neck so it would lay lovely against that cream blazer. Other ways I have styled them to work are tied around my neck, used as a belt by threading it through belt loops, and tying it in my hair at the top of my pony tails.
