While this whole workwear look is an affordable price, I like to make sure that what I am buying for work will go between seasons well. It takes time to shop for new looks so you want to know pieces that go with other items in your closet and you can wear it for a while without putting the item in the summer section of your closet. I do spend some time between seasons putting summer clothes away or pushing them to the back of my closet. But most of my neutral pieces are items I can wear almost all year long so I don’t normally push them to the back of my closet!
Getting double the use out of looks is what I am here for! Looks that I can style now for summer and in the fall are items I look for during this time of year. This neutral outfit is a great example of that. The ruffle blouse is light and breezy for the summer but long sleeve for the fall. The white work pants still give the summer feel but thick enough for the chilly fall days. For when it gets really chilly out, throwing a neutral wool coat over this outfit will quickly transition it into full fall.
